Stays up and is long enough to reach up to the bra. The only thing I wish is that it was a firmer compression in the same cut and material. I purchased to wear daily for post surgical compression. This expensive one is much better but my choice was ultimately not to use them at all. We really are better off just pulling our tummies in. April 20, 2013
