Seamless power short
My cardiologist recommended I look for shape wear for abdominal compression (this is to help with blood pooling for people with dysautonomia much like compression socks; for me Vasovagal Syncope) I ordered several pairs of spanx and found this one to be the comfiest for my dimensions and my favorite out of the bunch. The waistband stays in place, the compression is on the higher end of Spanx’s chart, and it is minimally noticeable under jeans. I am just shy of 5’2 and the waist band hits right at/below my belly button which is about the same as a high rise A&F Jean My two gripes: 1. ) sizing - while the small fits and provides some compression, I find that my jeans throughout the day provide more than the compression garments themselves. Curious if offering a size XXS/XS would aid in providing more compression. 2. ) Legs: the mid-thigh length is great, BUT they roll each time you pull your jeans up. So anticipate spending some time adjusting them under so they appear seamless. Once you’ve adjusted them they stay in place but if your jeans have no stretch, good luck trying to squeeze your arm in your pants leg to fix the roll. While you couldn’t get away with wearing these under leggings, you could get away with wearing these with 4in biker shorts if you need extra compression working out. Other Spanx I’ve ordered & Kept/Returned: • SpanxSculpt GoFigure Mid-Thigh — XS: returned, the waist band rise ended at an awkward spot on me which made it fold — I would have kept for the compression if not for this. •SpanxShape Invisible Girlshort —XS: returned, the waist was 2-3in too big, the compression was nothing to rave about either. •SpanxSculpt On Core Mid Thigh — XS: returned, for the price I did not find it worth keeping when the seamless power shorts provided equal compression imo •SpanxShape ExtraOrdinary Thong — XS: Kept, they are not as compressive as the Seamless Power shorts, but I needed something for under leggings. After the second wear I found they lost some compression and stretched some.
