Perfect transition weather staple
The French rib fabric is perfect for in between seasons. I wear the regular Air Essentials wide leg pants all year round, but it can be on the heavier side for the summer. The new French rib version is not as plush as your normal Air Essentials, which makes the fabric lighter and breathable. However, it’s still soft and comfortable. Sometimes when I pack my Air Essentials wide leg pants, it takes a fair amount of space because of how dense it is. For these pants, it’s half of the amount volume in your carry on with little change to comfort. I wore this to a dance night at the museum because it was cold outside, but I wanted something thin and light enough to move with ease. I also wore it to work and already got compliments when I paired it with the matching jacket. The pockets are wide and deep, but they’re stitched onto from the outside of the pants vs inside. They’re also slightly shorter than the normal Air Essentials. I’m 5’6” and normally the “regular” is an inch too long, and the “petite” ends up being an inch too short. I ordered the “regular” in the French rib version and it fit perfectly!Christina M.
