Delightfully Surprised
I never thought I could pull off yellow twill wide leg pants but I’m so glad I took a chance! I paired these with a black Air Essentials crew neck tee, half tucked, and black wedge sandals. I’ve worn this outfit twice now - to an outdoor work picnic, then for casual Friday at the office - and I was cool and comfortable the whole time. I get nervous about tucking, even a half tuck, but these pants are surprisingly slimming, flattering, and perfect for a half or a full tuck. They do wrinkle a bit when you sit for a while, but that doesn’t detract from the overall polished look when paired with a cute top and a twilly scarf woven through a couple belt loops. I’m very pleased with this addition to my wardrobe. I originally purchased 2X, which is my typical Spanx pant size, but they were noticeably loose on me. Sizing down to 1X worked perfectly. I’m pretty short but I deliberately purchase regular length because I prefer to wear chunky sneakers, heels, or wedges.Rachelle G.
