The option to use or not use the straps is helpful. I specifially purchased this item to wear with a strapless gown, but it will have other uses. I did find the body a tiny bit too long in the trunk and I am 5'5" tall. I normally wear a size 6 jean and 8 in formal slacks. Tops can be a small or medium, depending on how they run.Stacy J.

I purchased for stepsons wedding it looked great under my dress. It cane with bra straps which I used. It was comfortable all day and i usually can't wear shapewear.
