I am so happy with this black one-piece! The waffle-like material gives it a unique texture that feels high-quality and looks even better in person. The Spanxshape Swim Pique Plunge One-Piece Swimsuit is a medium-compression suit that fits really well and gives that snatched look. I have a small chest,so it works great for me but if you have a larger bust,I don’t think it would be that supportive. The material feels super high quality and has two layers,the outer layer is textured and the inner one is more shaping. The only issue I had was while swimming. The two layers kind of move in different directions in the water and sometimes air gets trapped inside. It’s hard to explain but it’s not my favorite part. I didn’t expect that to happen. Other than that,the swimsuit is really pretty. I love the quality, it shapes nicely and it has good coverage. It’s not too revealing, but it doesn’t look grandma-like either. I’d definitely get it in other colors. It shows just the right amount of skin and isn’t too cheeky. The material feels really nice on the skin too. Sizing was a bit tricky though. I usually wear XS but after reading the reviews,I sized up and I’m glad I did. XS would’ve been way too tight, even though that’s usually my true size. In my experience,it fits small. I saw a lot of reviews saying it fits large so I think it depends on your body type. I’m skinny with no visible curves,so sizing up worked better for me. Overall,I’m really happy with this swimsuit. I tested it in a pool and the chlorine didn’t damage it at all. It’s also great for actual swimming—it stayed in place and felt supportive.
